Barcelona Attack: Neymar sheds tears for victims

He now plays in France but his mind is still very much in Barcelona as Neymar was in tears during the minute's silence for the victims of this week's Barcelona terrorist attack.

Neymar is making his home debut for PSG this Sunday and it turned to be an emotional one for the Brazillian.

Spanish media have reported that up to 13 people were killed in Barcelona after a van rammed into a crowd of pedestrians in a busy part of the city last Thursday afternoon.

Police confirmed the incident and said they were treating it as a terrorist attack, but they did not confirm the number of casualties.

An eyewitness told local media that a white van mowed through a crowd near Catalunya Square in the historic Las Ramblas district, an area popular with tourists. The driver ran over pedestrians for roughly 1,000 feet before leaving his vehicle and running into a nearby restaurant.

Witnesses saw people lying on the floor as others took refuge in nearby stores and restaurants. Police warned citizens and tourists to remain indoors.

“I heard screams and a bit of a crash and then I just saw the crowd

parting and this van going full pelt down the middle of the Ramblas and I immediately knew that it was a terrorist attack or something like that,” one witness told the BBC.
